57.SICILIA

Finally I finished this video from the fabulous travel my boyfriend and I did last summer. Watching these images back is bringing me a lot of amazing and special emotions that only videos can make you feel. Being in love, being happy, being lucky is what I feel every time I turned up in my memories places and every time I realize that traveling is what I want most in my life. And I always get how lucky I am in my life.

33.Valle dei Templi, Agrigento.

When I was in Sicily I couldn't miss to see The Valley of the Temples. It's a Greek archeological site near Agrigento characterized by his exceptional state of preservation. In fact it's still possible to admire some temples, like Temple of Concordia or Temple of Minerva, which are still entire after all the past years. That place was so suggestive, so evocative, so timeless, so incredible, both for his aspect and for the place it sets. In fact it sets on a big hill who overlooks the sea how to rule the region all around.
I've always dreamt to go there since I was young and finally my dream came true.

28.Cala Mosche.

Pics of one of the most beautiful beach in the south of Sicily: Cala Mosche. 
It sets near Siracusa and it's a sort of wild beach, absolutely uncontaminated. 
It seemed to be like in Paradise.

26.Segesta e Selinunte.

During my last travel in Sicily I could visit a lot of Greek archeological sites. Segesta and Selinunte are two of those sites. They seem so similar for their aspects but they set in two different places and they are quite far from each other. In the past they were two enemy cities often in war. It was the first time I've visited a Greek Temple and I couldn't be more enthusiastic about that experience. That day was so hot, even more you could imagine, but it was absolutely a worthwhile experience. It's so incredible how some buildings which are more than 2000 years old still stand nowadays. I really feel so lucky for having the possibility to see all of that and I've to thank my boyfriend for this amazing gift.

25.Cefalù.

I've always been a fan of the famous movie "Divorzio all'italiana", an italian comedy set in the 60's in a supposed village called Agramonte. The protagonist of the comedy is a baron called Ferdinando Cefalù. In my mind I've always related the fake village Agramonte to the real town of Cefalù, which I could visit last week in the north of Sicily. Even if Agramonte doesn't exist, the streets of Cefalù reminded me so much the shown streets in the movie. I've been so happy for beeing there because Cefalù is so spectacular, so full of colors, so particular, so typical, so rich in history and I think it literally represents what Sicily is. So I'd like to suggest anyone to go to Cefalù once or to watch "Divorzio all'italiana" to taste a little bit of what wonderful Sicily means. Finally I can say that Cefalù is one of the places I've loved most in the entire Sicily.
